RESOURCES

Dear Internet visitors,

This section in our website extends your knowledge of Paissii's Slavonic-Bulgarian History and of its transcripts compiled during a period of a quarter of a millennium.

We believe you have already read Paissii's little book and because of that we look forward to you completing our online survey. If, however, you have not yet read the book, our team would urge you to do so now.

You can listen to the complete text of the History, read aloud by Mr. Marian Marinov of BTV, who has also placed at our disposal the AUDIOBOOK SLAVONIC-BULGARIAN HISTORY FOR NON-COMERCIAL PURPOSES (Vd.:http://istoriata.bg).

If our Public Lecture Course has stimulated your curiosity and interest in the Bulgarian Revival transcriptions of Father Paissii's History, you could learn also new facts related to the Bulgarian Revival transcripts and rehashes which our team has researched extensively. The menu item Genealogy of the First Hariton's Rehash offers you a visual picture of the family tree of the FIRST HARITON'S REHASH, compiled by the monk Hariton Rilets of the village of Zmeevo in 1831.

You are probably asking yourself by now if the contemporary Bulgarians are demonstrating interest in the hand-written copies of Slavonic-Bulgarian History.  Out answer is: yes, in our times too people are interest for a number of reasons in the holy hand-written book of the monk of the Hilendar monastery, which schoolchildren and university students, citizens of Bulgaria and citizens living abroad to This Day continue to copy by hand. We, the creators of this project, have gathered information on the contemporary handwritten copies, compiled in our country and abroad during the years of celebrating the quarter of a millennium jubilee of the Slavonic-Bulgarian History. We have published this information on our website. We believe there are other copies also, drafted at the end of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century and we urge the visitors of our website to render their support in collecting together the necessary information in order to fill the gaps on the menu item of contemporary transcripts and thsu pass this knowledge on.
